Anglin Mill, Mayo River Access - aka Mayo Beach, Boiling Hole *Open Dawn to Dusk (Part of Mayo River State Park) *Public Transit: NO *Amenities -Paddle the famous “Boiling Hole”! -Many areas to access the Mayo River -Open, sandy banks -Large rock features in the Mayo River and on the banks. -Covered garbage cans on site *Recommended Activities -Great paddling, from beginner to “Joe Berry” experience level (ALWAYS WEAR YOUR PFD AND HELMET). -Photography -Swimming (remember the life jacket we mentioned!) *River Access -Travel down the long, gravel road down to the beach. *Pro Tip -Always wear a PFD and helmet, especially if you plan on tackling the Boiling Hole. -Gravel and dirt roads, so watch your speed, there are homes nearby (dust). -Beautiful ‘DeShazo Falls’ is just down the road, <2 Miles. -There are no restroom facilities, restaurants/shops nearby in Stoneville, NC.
