Waterkeeper Alliance

Our network of waterkeepers operate under the international force of Waterkeeper Alliance, the fastest-growing movement for swimmable, drinkable, fishable water in the world. Today, there are more than 280 waterkeeper organizations in 34 countries and this number continues to grow. The Alliance bands together local waterkeeper organizations and helps them to protect communities, ecosystems and water quality. By acting as a model for watershed protection, the Alliance is a pioneer in the global clean water movement and has supported the Swim Guide project since its inception.
